稽古日誌 / Training Diary ー September 16th 2018 (Phrom Phong dojo)

本日は、体の変更(一)、臂力の養成(二)、片手持ち側面入身投げ(一)、片手綾持ち二ヶ条抑え(二)並びに関連技の稽古を行いました。

基本動作の稽古で得る最も大切なものは強い下半身です。
しかし稽古するたびにしっかり膝を曲げ腰を落としできるだけ正しく行わなければ強い下半身は得られません。
伝説のボクサーモハメドアリは「トレーニングで腹筋を何回行いますか?」と聞かれて、「俺は全部で何回やったか回数を数えない。きつく感じるようになってからの回数しか意味がないからだ。」と答えたそうです。
相手を制するにはまず自分からでしょう。

Today we practiced Tai-no-henko ichi (Body change 1),Hiriki-no-yosei ni (Elbow power 2), Katate-mochi sokumen irimi-nage ichi (One hand grasp side entering throw 1), Katate aya-mochi nikajo-osae ni (Cross hand grasp 2nd control 2) and related techniques.

The most important thing you can acquire from practice of basic movements is your strong lower body.
But if you don’t bend your knees and lower you hip properly as possible as you can you will never get strong lower body.
Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali was asked “ How many times you do sit-ups? ” Then he answered “ I don’t count my sit-ups. When I feel pain, that’s when I start counting, because that’s when it really counts.”
To control others you need to start controlling yourself first.
